I just ordered a hosting account with you. I cannot access my website using the domain name. Why?
If you have ordered for a hosting
account along with a new domain name registration request, it'll take
24-48 hours for the domain name to propagate through the Internet. Once,
the domain name has been propagated you will be able to access your
website using domain name.
If you already have a domain name registered, you need to initiate a
domain name transfer to Website Source Hosting name server. You need to
contact the registrar of your domain name and change the name server
information to Website Source Hosting name servers.
Is it possible for me to access email through a web browser?
Yes, you can access the mails through your browser. Simply go to http://www.stylishwebs.com/webmail and log in using your e-mail address and password.
I've published (uploaded) my web pages to my website. Still, I'm getting the "Under Construction page". Why?
Make sure your home page named index.htm so that, you will overwrite the system page that was created for you.
What is .htaccess file? How do I create it and why can't I see/view it in the file manager along other files?
".htaccess" is a hidden system file,
it's used to set redirection, password protection, directory index,
change the default home page from index.html to any other file, custom
error pages etc.
a). How to create/view the .htaccess file?
1.Access the control panel of your domain.
2.Click on the 'File Manager' icon.
3.Click on the 'domain.com' folder link.
4.Scroll down to the bottom of the page and enter '.htaccess' (without
quotes) in the text box against 'File name' and click on the
'Create/Edit' button.
b). How to set redirection using .htaccess file?
Add the following line to the .htaccess file:
Redirect /$directory/old.html http://$domain.com/$directory/new.html
c) How to set listing of all the files and folders of the website?
Add the following line to the .htaccess file and save the file
Options Indexes (O and I are in caps)
d) How to set the default page to another file with a different
extension?
Add the following line to the .htaccess file and save the file
DirectoryIndex index.php index.html (you can replace index.php with any
file)
Why aren't my images showing up on my website?
Make sure that the images are uploaded
inside the correct folder. You can create a separate "images" folder
inside your hosting space. If you've created a separate folder, you need
to upload the images to that folder.
Please make sure that URL that you provide for calling the image in the
browser is specified properly in the file from where you are calling the
image. For example if you have a image "photo.gif" which is uploaded in
the "images" folder and the file that you're calling this image is "photo.html"
(which is in side the “www’ folder), the path to call that image should
be as follows:
img src="/images/photo.gif" (you need to provide the exact path for the
image that you're calling).
Please make sure that the image is also uploaded properly. Sometime,
when you right click on the broken image, and click on the properties,
you have the file size as -1. In this case, you need to re-upload the
image. Also, there are possibilities that you have created the link to
call the image, but the image is not at all uploaded.

How do I renew my domain's registration?
If we have your credit card on file and the domain is registered through us, we will automatically renew it (as any renewable service) when it's due, unless you tell us otherwise.

What is domain propagation?
When a visitor types your domain name
into their Web browser, their request is referred to a nameserver that
indicates the physical location (the IP address) of your domain on the
Internet. When your site location changes to a new IP address, or when a
new domain name is added, nameservers around the world must be notified
of the change. This process is referred to as propagation.
Propagation normally requires 24-48 hours. During this period, if you
are transferring your domain, some nameservers will refer to the old
location of your site and some to the new location. Therefore, a visitor
accessing your site may be directed to either the old or new location.
It is usually best to keep your previous hosting company until your
transfer is verified as having taken place.
What is a parked domain?
Parked domains are not separate accounts, they are merely pointers to an existing web site rental account. Parked domains do not have their own IP address, SEPARATE EMAIL ADDRESSES or their own control panel.
I changed my mind about the domain name that I registered. Is it too late to change it?
Once you register a domain name, you cannot "un-register" it. If you find that the domain name you chose no longer suits your business or personal needs, you should register another domain name. The domain name you originally registered will continue to be registered to you until the end of the registration period. Registration and re-registration fees are non-refundable.

Can I have a subdomain such as "sales.mydomain.com"?
Yes, you will be able to have your own subdomain, such as "sales.yourdomainname.com". A subdomain is basically a subdirectory or folder created under the primary Domain account which is a fully operating Web site with its own username and password and account. The main benefit of a subdomain is that it doesn't require domain name registration and fees that are associated with a full domain name.
How many subdomains can I add to my account?
Each hosting plan allows you to add different amounts of subdomains.
What is the difference between a domain and a subdomain?
A domain name is a full website address totally independent of other domain names, but a subdomain depends on a domain name. If for example "yourdomain.com" is your domain name, then http://yourdomain.com and http://www.yourdomain.com would be your domain name's address. A subdomain name would be a name under your domain name, something like "sales.yourdomain.com". It's address would then be: http://sales.yourdomain.com. It can say anything you want instead of "sales" and the nice thing is that unlike a domain name, a subdomain does not need to be registered. This will save you money.
Do the hosting plans offer a dedicated IP address?
No, however these can be purchased for nominal monthly fee.
Will I have unlimited access to FTP?
You can create a certain number of FTP user accounts in your control panel (depends on the plan). This FTP user will get his very own access information. Because of this great feature you could offer small hosting services to mini websites that do not need their own domain name. Once you order a shared hosting account, simply login to your control panel and start creating FTP users.
How many websites can I add to my hosting account for no additional charge?
